Public transportation is an important element of any city that gives residents the option to travel without needing a personal vehicle. More cities are implementing fast wireless transmissions such as 5G and Wi-Fi 6 technologies to improve network transmission and communication which also includes the transportation sector.
Introduction of PLANET Industrial Ethernet Solution
PLANET developed ultra-fast gateways and routers that can be fitted for public transportation such as buses or metros to enable smooth wireless connections. PLANET 5G NR Mobility Solution consists of ICG-2515-NR Gateway Series (ICG-2515-NR/ICG-2515W-NR) and VR-300-NR Router Series (VR-300FW-NR/VR-300FPW-NR/VR-300PW-NR).
PLANET Gateway and Router devices incorporate the following features to enhance speed, protection and more for the mobility solution.
يدعم PLANET NMS Solution و تطبيق CloudViewer for remote management and promotes the implementation of a smart city network.
حلول الاتصالات الخلوية بتقنية الجيل الخامس NR
PLANET 5G NR Mobility Solution adopts 5G NR cellular technology and thus breaks the 100m limitation of RJ45 transmission. To avoid data loss affected by an unexpected breakdown connection on the part of ISP, the ICG-2515-NR Series provides dual SIM card slots, failover functions and advanced features like VLAN, VPN, Modbus, and network management to cover more applications.
Smart City with 5G NR Mobility
In a smart city, Internet of Things (IoT) technology is utilized to collect real-time data from mobile devices, connected cars, home appliances, etc. through 5G NR. With big data, it enables users to experience much better intelligent transmission. 5G NR mobility offers a new kind of communication and transmission that a network needs to enable to connect everything and meet the requirements of smart city infrastructures.
