Enhance Long-range Transmission with Metro Ethernet Network
Inter-city Connectivity
1-connected network with long reach capability and speed ranging from 1Gbps to 100Gbps
Reliable Transmission
Redundant power supply with secure cybersecurity and fast network recovery
Scalability and Management
Intuitive centralized network management and application scalability including telecom, ISPs, branch offices, etc.
Inter-city network connectivity enables large-scale operations such as telecom or branch offices to manage a reliable and centralized network. This can greatly optimize workflow and reduce the need for a separate network system for each location.
- What is needed for the Metropolitan Network?
- Long Reach: A network connection capable of spanning extensive distances between locations.
- Intuitive Management: A large-scale network infrastructure requires a management tool that can effectively monitor all connected sites.
- Secure Connection: Spanning long distances across multiple locations requires a connection that is both secure and reliable.
What is the Solution?
PLANET’s Metro Ethernet Solution provides a secure singular network system to manage inter-city connectivity. The Metro Ethernet Switch Series features high-bandwidth fiber-optic transmission for delivering crucial data between locations.
A single fiber network across long-distance inter-city locations for efficient data transmission and management.
How far can the network reach?
The fiber network can extend up to 120km by integrating the Managed Media Converters (XT-900 and IXT-900 Series).
How does the admin manage the long-distance network efficiently?
Receive intelligent analysis of connected devices across all metropolitan networks with the Universal Network Management Central Controller (UNC-NMS) which is a cross-domain network management platform designed for large or multinational enterprise networks. Admin can also utilize the NMSViewerPro app to directly monitor and make configuration on the phone.
Enhance Sustainability:
Improve power savings, detect environmental hazards or more within each city without extra wiring by collecting data from long-range wireless LoRaWAN sensors to be analyzed by the AIoT Application Server (NMS-AIoT)
